Either place the sanitzer directly on top of the bottle and turn on the timer or simply place the teething ring or pacifier in side and turn on. The Baby bottle nipple sanitizer has two buttons that must be started simultaneously for it to work its disinfection cycle. The globe last 15000 hours and requires 3 AAA batteries to operate. On completion of the disinfection cycle a musical tune will sound.
